Meditative Moments:
God is so good. There are so many things around us which we take for granted each day. God has blessed us with so many beautiful things. I woke up yesterday morning, early of course since I am an early riser, opened the door and there were deer standing in the front yard. There were 5 big doe and one little fawn. I had opened the door without realizing they were there and then just froze. They didn't see me for a while and then realized something was different. They looked at me and I looked at them, neither of us moving--waiting to see what was going to happen next. The thought came to me as I saw them and I could see the sun peeping over the horizon, how beautiful nature really is. God is beautiful. God made all of this. Can you imagine NOT believing this? Finally, they ran into the woods back to their safety net --away from man. We need to be like the deer I saw yesterday. We need to run back to our safety net of God away from man and the sin brought into this world. Yes, there are things around us that are absolutey beautiful, but those beautiful things will not get us to Heaven. We need to run to God each day and allow him to keep us safe as a christian. Yes, God is good. Enjoy Him this week and allow yourself to see the beauty around you that only God could have made.
